The Oust Bearing Cleaning Kit is the fastest and safest way to clean your skateboard bearings. With the Oust Cleaner, no damage to the carriages or races can occur. Oust is a top notch brand, specializing in very high performance bearings, bearing cleaners, and bearing lubricants.
Properly Cleaning Bearings
First, we recommend removing the shields of the bearings so that the cleaner can get inside and really wash those balls. Next, simply pop your bearings on to the carriages provided and install into the container. Pour the included cleaner on to the bearings inside of the cleaning container and close the lid. Shake thoroughly. This is when all your shake weight training pays off. Remove the lid and properly dispose of the dirty cleaning solution. Finally, remove the bearings from the carriages.
Re-Lube After Cleaning
Once cleaning is complete, don't forgot to re-lube before putting the shields back on! Check out Oust MET-OL Speed Oil for an awesome lubricant (lube sold separately).
Included in Package
Kit comes complete with washing container, bearing holder, and cleaning solvent. Bearings are not included, you gotta use your dirty ones! Oust stickers are included when available.
Oust Met-Ol is the best bearing lubricant on the market. Extensive research and development went into creating this premium lube for your longboard skateboard. The lube comes with two types of droppers, a standard and a precision metal dropper. The precision metal dropper allows you to get into your rubber shielded and Oust Metal shielded bearings without taking them off.
Never Remove Shields Again
Paired with Oust MOC 5 Street and you don't even have to take off the bearing shields. Oust Street MOC 5s have a small little hole in the shields to allow for easy lube application. Additionally, the needle nose dropper that comes included makes it super easy to precisely slip a little extra lube in your bearings, sealed or not.
Special Molecular Blend
This special blend of high and low molecular weight carbon is to be used every 6 hours of riding at the professional level. Lubricating properties are designed to stay strong even at high temperatures. Lubricant is non-flammable.
